GP (Mental Health)

Dr Sarah Burrowes is a mental health GP who works in 3 areas:

  1. assessment and management of mental health symptoms and conditions,
  2. psychological therapy (Focused Psychological Strategies), and
  3. assessment and treatment of ADHD in adults

 

Sarah is the ‘mental health GP’ and if applicable, the ‘GP for ADHD’ for her patients.

 

Her patients need to have another GP attending to their physical health needs and coordinating their health care, as she no longer provides general GP care.

 

Sarah has many years’ experience working in mental health services, Aboriginal health services, and general practice clinics, has an interest in providing mental health care for LGBTIQ people and people with neurodevelopmental conditions.

  2. Our psychiatrists are currently not accepting new ADHD referrals.
  3. Our General Adult Psychiatrists are currently accepting (non ADHD/ASD) referrals.
  4. Our GPs, Psychologists, Family Counsellors, and Couple Counsellors are currently accepting referrals.
