Dr Michelle Hannah
Michelle is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with adults in private practice, community-based mental health services, and school psychology settings. Michelle is trained in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions for individuals with a range of difficulties with mental health and wellbeing.
Her areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, relationship and interpersonal issues, grief and loss, adjustment issues, trauma, culture, women’s mental health, and adult ADHD. She is committed to a compassionate, collaborative, non-judgemental, and culturally sensitive approach with all clients.
Michelle incorporates a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailored to each client’s presenting difficulties, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Attachment-based Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Play-Based Therapy with children.
Michelle is a fully registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), and also holds a doctorate in Anthropology.
