Mental Health Occupational Therapist

Trauma-Informed & Embodied Recover

I am a trauma-informed and embodied Mental Health Occupational Therapist who works with adults. I am dedicated to helping you navigate the complexities of trauma and its impact on your daily life. Drawing from my experience in both public and private mental health settings, as well as my own personal healing journey, I offer a compassionate, holistic space where your recovery can unfold naturally and authentically.

My Approach

I believe in the innate wisdom of the body. My practice bridges the gap between traditional Occupational Therapy and psychotherapy, ensuring that healing isn’t just something you talk about, but something you feel. By integrating “top-down” cognitive strategies with “bottom-up” somatic tools, I help you reconnect with yourself and regain agency over your nervous system.

Therapeutic Toolkit

I guide every session by your specific goals and intentions. I draw from a diverse, evidence-based framework to provide you with tailored support:

  • Trauma Reprocessing: I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
  • Nervous System Regulation: I provide education and practical body-based tools to help you understand your nervous system and have new ways to support it.
  • Parts Work & Self-Compassion: I hold space for all parts of you with non-judgement.
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness based approaches: linking the mind and body to build emotional regulation skills.
  • Functional Change: I utilise traditional OT approaches to explore what practical change could look like for you. I help you re-engage with the activities that matter most to you.

Beyond the Clinic

Outside of my professional work, I cherish time spent in solitude in nature and with my family and friends.

Ready to begin? I am here to support you in tapping into your internal resources and building a life that feels safe, grounded, and whole.
