Sandra Burnett

Clinical Psychologist

Hi there, my name is Sandra – a Clinical Psychologist and Psychedelic assisted therapist. Embarking on the path of self-discovery and emotional healing is a profound journey, and I’m here to guide you through the process in a way that aligns with you.

My therapeutic approach is warm, infused with playful energy. Placing you at the heart of our journey together is paramount to me. I blend this personalised care with the gold standard of evidence-based practices, ensuring your transformation is both nurturing and grounded.

Within my toolkit, you’ll find an array of proven therapies designed to guide you towards transformation: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for reshaping thinking and behaviour patterns, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for mastering emotion regulation, Schema Therapy for rewriting your narrative, and Mindfulness-based practices for cultivating presence.

I also apply modalities like Eye Movement Re-processing Desensitization (EMDR), Ego State therapy, and Internal Family Systems training to delve even deeper into your healing process.

My journey has led me through academia, researching treatment-resistant depression, ADHD and administering cognitive assessments with the Barwon Infant Study. I’ve honed my craft in diverse settings – from general and psychiatric hospitals to private practice for people of all ages.

Outside the realm of therapy, I am most content in nature and I have a strong connection to the ocean. My true joy is spending time with cherished family and friends, sharing stories and belly laughing.
